Community Impact

Thanks to the generosity of many supporters, the team has been able to provide a month's worth of food to the families of our sponsored children on multiple occasions.

Cheka Child has a vision to raise funds locally to help support the needs of vulnerable children in the community and not just rely on gifts from abroad. Cheka Child has raised funds by painting and selling locally made clay pots. Second-hand phones like old Nokias and iphones have also raised some useful funds. Thanks to those who have provided these 2nd hand phones that fetch a good price in Uganda...you know who you are Alan Tuvey!

Small animals like goats/chickens or rabbits will provide an on-going source of food and income to families.
