Our vision is to transform the lives of children, families, and widows in Northern Uganda. Bringing them hope for a different future through child sponsorship, family discipleship and mentoring, and participating in community development.

“The guardians for the Cheka Child children are starting to understand their responsibilities of how to care for their children better. The parenting training helped with this.
Cheka Child has taken the financial burdens of schooling off of families and brought relief through sponsorship.
Some guardians have had funds provided for businesses which provides a boost to the guardians and allowed them to be sustainable. Otherwise, as a poor person, they have no option to get capital at all.
The widows have had hope restored through the provision of goats and see that God remembers them in their needs and sees that their Father is a provider. Cheka Child acts as a bridge to them to show that God is there. ”
